Ribbon Cutting for New Facility – 2016

On Sunday, September 18, 2016, the clergy and parishioners of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in East Cobb (located at 3431 Trickum Road, Marietta) celebrated the opening of the new administration and education wing of their Parish Life Center. Presiding over the “Thyranoixia” celebration were the clergy of Holy Transfiguration – Protopresbyter Rev. Father Panayiotis Papageorgiou, Ph.D, Protopresbyter Rev. Father George Pallas, and Presbyter Rev. Father Paul Lundberg assisted by the Parish Council President, Steve Tingas and Construction Committee Chairman Alex Miltiades.

Distinguished guests who participated in the cutting of the ribbon were the honorable Sam Olens, Attorney General of the State of Georgia, Tim Lee, Chairman of Cobb County Commissioners, JoAnn Birrell, District Commissioner and Spyros Vourtsis, Vice Consul of the Greek Consulate in Atlanta.
