K-5 Youth (HOPE & JOY)

A ministry for children in kindergarten through 5th grade

What is HOPE?

HOPE, which stands for Holy Orthodox Primary Education, is a ministry designed to gather all of our children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade for fellowship, fun, and service. The goal of HOPE is to build relationships, friendships, and a sense of community among our parish’s youngest members. In addition, HOPE fosters an Orthodox lifestyle through the experiences of fellowship, service, and worship that characterize its meetings.

What is JOY?

JOY, which stands for Junior Orthodox Youth, is a ministry designed to gather all of our Orthodox youth in 3rd-5th grade for fellowship, fun, and service. The goal of JOY is to build friendships, togetherness, and connectedness among our youth. In today’s world, it is extremely important that our children have Orthodox friends to support them in living an Orthodox lifestyle. JOY promotes this lifestyle through the experiences of fellowship, service, and worship that characterize its meetings.

What we do

The mission of the HOPE & JOY ministry is to lay the foundation for our Youth to know and experience their Orthodox Faith through a connection with the Lord Jesus Christ. Through teaching and fellowship, we aim to engage our Youth and foster their growth and understanding of their Faith.
